It’s a musical based on the classic fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Will the meddling Queen find the right bride for the Prince by placing a pea under a pile of mattresses?

Old King Cole asks Mother Goose to investigate the untimely fall of Humpty Dumpty. Follow her as she interviews Little Boy Blue, Little Bo Peep and others in this fun musical mystery.

Class is in session and the gang at East Junior High will never be the same again! This is an adapted version of one of the popular tween favorites geared just for the younger kids. Come join the Wild Cats as we bop to the top together!

YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN: (open to grades 9-12), TEEN SUMMER WORKSHOP

This is a classic musical based on the average day of the very average comic strip character Charlie Brown and the whole Peanuts gang. This workshop is a theater intensive. The day will be filled with acting technique, vocal instruction, choreography as well as costuming, stage make-up and set building.

Registration will be limited to SIX FEMALES and SIX MALES

Tuition, $350

Rehearsals: June 29, 30 from 2-6, July 5-10 from 2-6, July 12-15 from 2-6, July 17 from 2-6, July 19 from 4-6, July 20, 21, 22 from 2-6 p.m.

CINDERELLA: A FANTASY Tween Production Workshop
The tween production will be a NON-MUSICAL geared especially for students grades 5 through 8. This workshop is just for the in between ages and will focus on acting technique. Students will take part in every aspect of putting on a full production including acting, costuming, stage make up, and set building.

The Fairy Godmother needs help from the audience because she is out of practice and not all of her magic is working properly. When the Prince comes along and meets Cinderella at the ball, you know the rest—they live happily ever after. This is a fun twist to an old classic where emphasis is placed on audience participation.

Tuition: $325, for grades entering 5-8 only

Rehearsals: July 12-16 from 9-1, July 19-23 from 9-1, July 26-29 from 9-1

Performances: July 30: 10:30 & 7:30, July 31: 7:30, August 1: 2:30, August 2: 10:30

American Idol Performance Intensive: open to grades 5-8

Recording Artist, Robin Hackett, brings American Idol back by popular demand! This performance intensive is designed to give budding performers the edge by exposing them to intense vocal and performance training. This workshop includes two private voice lessons a week and a 4 hour weekly seminar with professional guest artists.

Tuition: $600, for grades entering 5-8

Seminars: June 11, 18, 25, July 9,16 & 23 from 1-5

Voice lessons will be scheduled individually.

Performance: July 25 at 7 p.m.

Performing Arts Day Camp: open to ages 7-12

Beat the summer heat and come have fun at Studio B! Come explore all aspects of performing arts including stage make up, acting, dancing, singing, puppetry, clowning, music and more! Each session will be different. Register as an extension to our children’s workshops or just to come and have a lot of fun!

Tuition: $125 per session, open to ages 7-12

Time: 1-5 p.m.
