Robin Hood: Feb. 10-19

Studio B Performing Arts Center is proud to present Robin Hood: The Merry Musical running weekends February 10-19, 2012. It’s the story you know and love with rockin’ music everyone will recognize. Robin Hood, the famed outlaw of Sherwood Forest and his Merry Players are out to outsmart the evil Prince John, who has taken over while his brother, King Richard the Lion-Hearted is gone a crusade. Along the way, Robin Hood meets up with his old sweetheart, Maid Marian. She then helps leads the way to help Robin Hood save the villagers from oppression. Tickets $10. Runs Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Feb. 10-19-7:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 on Sundays.

The Curious Savage: March 8-11
Directed by Charles Ballinger
Ethel P. Savage has inherited millions of dollars and her step-children are overly eager to help her distribute the funds. The children institutionalize her, but it is there that Mrs. Savage discovers a host of social misfits who need the type of help she can provide. This popular comedy by John Patrick leaves audience members feeling that the neglected virtues of kindness and affection are not entirely lost. Tickets $15/adults, $12 seniors & students, $10 kids ages 10 & under. Runs Thurs-Sunday, March 8-12, 7:30 on Thur, Fri, Sat, 2:30 on Sunday

Fiddler on the Roof: April 20-29 Directed by Sharon Veselic
In the small village of Anatevka, the poor dairyman, Tevye, tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his Jewish community and heritage despite the changing world around them. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, this musical has touched audiences around the world. Tickets $15/adults, $12 seniors & students, $10 kids ages 10 & under. Runs Fri, Sat, Sun, April 20-29, 7:30 on Fri, Sat, 2:30 on Sunday.
